^ that's PJ

PJ is a visual and performing artist who has been drawing & painting for over a decade. He is deeply interested in art history, and loves to consider the ways art has been a tool for expression and communication across different times, places, and cultures. His work generally focuses on recreations & reinterpretations of historical artwork. He enjoys remaking art pieces in new materials and contexts, and inviting the viewer to consider how meaning is generated---beyond a work's form and content, but also through context.
